Farymann has been developing and producing single-cylinder diesel engines in Lampertheim
for more than 60 years. These engines are characterised by Germany top quality,
reliability and economy, and are therefore used in a wide range of industrial applications
in every possible field. These applications include agricultural and construction
machinery, stationery and mobile electricity generators, drive units in the industrial
and marine area, and many more.
One of our guiding principles is not only to improve our engines continually in
terms of their performance, quality and reliability, but also to keep price levels
low for the benefit of our customers. This is achieved amongst other things by the
continual improvement of the development and production methods.
A further contribution towards cost reduction lies in the continual further training
of employees right through to the point of top management, establishing increase
in efficiency in all areas of production and administration as an ongoing process.
Our dedication to quality is also reflected in the production process. Special components
are processed or manufactured on the very latest CNC machines. We are able to respond
very flexibly to individual customer requirements. We can offer special solutions
for applications, since we carry out the complete production sequence in-house:
we design, develop, manufacture and assemble our engines, and test them throughout
the complete production process. Before the engines leave our premises, we test
each and every one of them meticulously on the engine test bed, and measure its
exhaust gas emissions. Every bought-in part delivered by our carefully selected
suppliers is checked directly at our incoming goods inspection.

reliability and durability.
